The Black Hawk Municipal Court holds court once a month on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The session starts at 1:00 p.m. The Honorable Judge Ronald W. Carlson presiding. Court is held at 211 Church Street, where limited parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. Black Hawk Municipal Court handles misdemeanors, traffic infractions, and ordinance violations. Black Hawk Municipal Court does not handle Driving Under the Influence, Driving While Impaired by drugs or alcohol, or any kind of vehicle registration complaints. We do not handle domestic violence cases. These violations are handled by the Gilpin County Court, located at 2960 Dory Hill Road, Black Hawk, CO 80422. Their number is 303-582-5522.
