Snow and Wind Loads:

  • Snow Load - 77 pounds per square foot
  • Commercial (IBC) Wind Speed (Wind speed based on the most current Colorado Front Range Gust Map - 700 yr occurrence) - Wind Speed shall be designed per the 2021 IBC - 1609.3.  The EOR must design the structure based on the most current wind study map, the risk category of the structure and the type of structure.   
  • Residential (IRC) Wind Speed (Wind speed based on the most current Colorado Front Range Gust Map - 50 yr occurrence) - see IRC amendment
  • Colorado Front Range Gust Map 2013
  • Frost Depth - Extending below the frost line of 48 inches
