Mayor & City Council
The Mayor and all six members of the Black Hawk City Council live and work in our mountain community. The current Black Hawk City Council has a commendable 125 years of combined service to the City. Their dedication is evident in all that they do for the City of Black Hawk.
Council meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month at 3:00 pm (unless otherwise noted) in Council Chambers located upstairs at 211 Church Street, Black Hawk, Colorado. Special meetings are occasionally held as needed, on no set schedule.
The City of Black Hawk's governance is grounded in pragmatism and old fashion common sense, embracing a can-do attitude and embodying the indomitable spirit that built the American West.
All correspondence with the Mayor and Board of Alderman should be conducted through the City Clerk's office.
Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Black Hawk is to progressively provide cost-effective programs and services of the highest quality to the community.
